FAQs

  • What is OCD South Carolina?
    • We are a South Carolina affiliate of the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF), and we strive to serve as a resource and connect individuals and families who experience OCD and related anxiety disorders with each other, quality information, and opportunities for support and community statewide.  We do not provide direct care or therapy services and are not connected with any specific providers or programs; however, we believe in evidenced based practices and hope to advocate for access to quality care in our state.

    • South Carolina does not currently have higher levels of care, like hospitalization or partial hospitalization programs for OCD. Clinics and programs that specialize in OCD can be searched for separately if you’re seeking resources such as residential treatment or partial hospitalization programs. The Annual OCD Conference is an in-person event and includes special programming for kids, their families, and supporters along with professionals and adults with OCD.  You can find more information and sign up to receive Conference email updates here:  IOCDF Conferences.
